A Perfect Sky

For A Perfect Sky at Deutsches Schauspielhaus Hamburg, I constructed an antique-style column stump. This piece served as a central element on stage, providing the base for a hologram projection.

The construction involved carving the shape from styrofoam, laminating it with nettle fabric and wood glue, and filling it with Hato Plast. The surface finish was achieved using chalk paint and varnish to give it an authentic, aged appearance.
