Stadt der Träumenden Bücher

For the play Stadt der Träumenden Bücher (City of Dreaming Books) at Deutsches Schauspielhaus Hamburg, I was tasked with creating a pair of shoes seamlessly integrated into a large stack of books.

The books and shoes were carved from styrofoam, laminated with nettle and wood glue, and treated with Hato Plast. The surface was finished with Algrund colors, and the shoes were connected using styrofoam dowels.
