Der Herr der Diebe

In the workshop for Der Herr der Diebe (The Thief Lord) at Deutsches Schauspielhaus Hamburg, a carousel with five figures was built to be interacted with by the actors.

I carved and designed the seahorse figure. The piece was carved from styrofoam, laminated with veil nettle and wood glue, and filled with Hato Plast. As a final touch, the surface was decorated with Algrund paint and intricate mirror mosaics.
