Styrofoam, leather, faux fur, real horn, PU foam 2024
Antropolis

For the Antropolis Canon at Deutsches Schauspielhaus Hamburg, a cow figure was built resembling a highly articulated wooden dummy.

I was responsible for carving the head. The horns were mounted on an iron core and the internal volume was filled with PU foam. I shaped the ears using threads and finally secured everything to a base plate that connected directly to the cow’s head.

The head was carved from styrofoam, covered in nettle fabric and wood glue, with ears made of leather and faux fur and real horns used for its crown.
