Die Maschine

For Die Maschine oder: Über allen Gipfeln ist Ruh (Deutsches Schauspielhaus Hamburg), we produced silicone fish designed to fall from the ceiling during the performance.

A pre-made silicone mold was filled with several layers of differently tinted silicone and backed with PU foam for structure. Afterward, the fish were hand-rubbed with metallic pigments to give them a scaly sheen and sealed with a final clear silicone layer.
