Tänzerin
Styrofoam, paper, wood glue, Hato Plast, bronze pigments — 2024
During my third year of apprenticeship, I focused on human anatomy by recreating the figure Tänzerin (1911) by Georg Kolbe.
The challenge was to capture the movement and lightness of the figure. The sculpture was carved from styrofoam, laminated with paper and wood glue, and filled with Hato Plast. The final material imitation was achieved using bronze pigments.
