Plasteline, silicone, polymer gypsum, styrofoam, Hato Plast, bronze pigments — 2023
In the second year of my apprenticeship, I explored animal anatomy by modeling a dog in plasteline, which was later scaled up into a stage-realistic size.
The process included modeling in plasteline, creating a silicone mold with a polymer gypsum and glass fiber support shell, and casting with PU foam. For the large-scale version, I carved the figure from styrofoam, laminated it with paper and wood glue, and finished it using Hato Plast and bronze pigments.
